Wallgate Becomes GDPR Compliant with a Time & Attendance System

Situated in Salisbury, the company “wanted to be able to put all of the HR personnel information into one database so that it was GDPR compliant, and to eliminate paper personnel files”, according to their HR Manager, Catherine Rousell.
Wallgate’s upgraded system includes multiple clocking stations within the offices and each production area as well as the business versions of Tensor’s WinTA.NET software. They also opted for Tensor’s Self-Service Module (SSM), in both its web-based and mobile app. The time and attendance systems installed at Wallgate allow them to easily and efficiently manage their staff’s annual and sickness leave, as well as keep track of all hours worked.

An employee can also use the software to request new periods of absence, cancel pending absence requests or cancel approved absence requests that have not yet occurred. Requests can also be made to add missed clockings, amend or delete clockings made in error.
