Major expansion planned by Cyber Security Services Firm

Cyber security services specialist Bridewell Consulting is opening five new regional offices in the UK and plans to double headcount over the next 12 months.

The new offices, in Manchester, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Nottingham and Cheltenham are part of Bridewell’s growth strategy, enabling the company to meet an expected 50 per cent increase in demand for its cyber security services and managed detection and responses services this year.

The expansion into new offices comes after the company experienced 20 per cent growth in new customers in 2020 despite the pandemic, and a 75 per cent increase in revenues for the second successive year.

The next 12 months will see further growth for Bridewell as it expands into Europe, North America and Asia, fuelled by investment and continued customer growth. The news follows the appointment last month of the experienced Paul Driver as Bridewell’s non-executive chairman to steer its five-year expansion plan and develop its service offering.

“With new capital and fresh talent we are firmly on course for significant expansion into new markets,” said Bridewell Consulting co-chief executive Scott Nicholson. “Opening new offices is part of a strategy that has already seen us become one of the UK’s largest independent providers of end-to-end cyber security services.”

Headquartered in Reading, Bridewell currently employs 81 consultants and has more than 100 customers.

“Demand for leading cyber security services is rocketing,” said Anthony Young, co-chief executive at Bridewell Consulting. “And we are now entering the next exciting phase in our development, evolving the depth and breadth of our services to bring our high levels of quality to yet more customers and new markets.”

Time and Attendance UK – Your experts in expanding workforce management solutions

It is always a sign that your company is heading in the right direction when they have plans to expand and increase employee numbers.

Bridewell Consulting is looking to double its headcount due to expansion plans in various new offices over the next year. This is fantastic news, however, managing a workforce of that size can prove to have its challenges.

Thankfully, Time and Attendance UK have the perfect solution for any business that is looking to expand its workforce or even upgrade its current management system.

We are leading providers of smart card and biometric access control systems and software guaranteed to meet your time and attendance requirements.

Our smart card time & attendance technology allows your employees to quickly clock in and out, with the time and attendance software accurately recording attendances. The inbuilt report generator makes it simple to get both real-time and archived information and hosts a range of output styles to suit your company’s requirements.

We also offer a Self Service Module (SSM). This is a web-based application that allows enrolled employees to Clock In or Out, for Time and Attendance purposes, and book themselves On or Off the fire evacuation list.

SSM may also be used by employees to book On or Off production jobs via their internet browser. A person can use SSM to request new periods of absence, cancel pending absence requests or cancel approved absence requests that have not yet occurred. Requests can also be made to add missed clockings, amend or delete clockings made in error.

Ultimately, our workforce management systems make employers life easier and drastically improve the functionality of the HR teams.
