Time and Attendance UK

Time and Attendance Software

The time and attendance software for all Time and Attendance UK systems has a familiar Windows interface, providing quick and easy access to information.

You can create a wide range of daily working patterns (shifts), with either fixed or flexitime rules. These can run past midnight, making night shifts simple to define. Overtime is easily monitored, and both paid and unpaid breaks are easy to define and calculate. Information on up to 1000 production or department jobs can be stored by the time and attendance software.

With the simple use of a smart card or key fob, employees book time against these jobs to produce a fully costed analysis and break down of time spent on each one. Reports show jobs that are over budget or those approaching their budget limit. This information can also be exported to spreadsheets.

The built-in report generator makes it simple to get the information you need from the system.

Standard reports include:

Additional features are available, which can be implemented on your time and attendance system to take into account diversity with working rules between different organisations.

Auto Clockout - Employees are automatically clocked out at a certain time.

Shift Swapping - Employees may have their shift for a particular day changed in advance.

Annualised Hours - Keep track of time worked throughout the year by a particular employee.

Secondary Pay Bands - Certain pay bands pay into other bands either on a 1:1 basis or by using a multiplier.

Shift Premiums - complex payment schemes can be used, based on factors such as the time of working to the grade of employee.

All of our time and attendance software is fully compliant with the EU Working Time Directive, thus making it easy to confirm to European regulations.

Inconsistent Working Time Laws
New EU legislation aimed at harmonising working time and ensuring minimum rest periods for truck drivers has met with fierce criticism from both trade unions and employers in the road transport sector who say they can lead to 'different interpretations' and 'unintentional infringements'.
